Hello and welcome to a Thistle Moon co.! We are a small independent business based on a simple premise of using only the safest ingredients to create the best products for your home and ours! Our philosophy is to provide you with scents that will evoke the sweetest of memories, calm your mind, and enhance gatherings to make your home a cozy, welcoming space.
Our hand-poured, wooden wick candles are made in small batches with all natural, coconut wax blend, mixed with phthalate-free premium fragrances to create an eco-friendly, clean-burning and long-lasting candle.

Our fragrances are sophisticated, simple, and earthy. We focus on scents that strike your senses and create a calm from our daily lives. We pride ourselves on using only phthalate-free, skin-safe fragrance oils which are infused with natural essential oils. Our hope is that our candles carry you away and bring memories that are reminiscent of your best of times.

In the process of looking for the perfect wax for our candles, we tested many popular waxes such as paraffin, soy, and other natural waxes, but we were left unimpressed. So many of these are chemically based, rather than plant based and pure.
Our coconut wax blend is the result of that effort, and we have created a candle with an amazing scent throw, while providing a clean burning candle that does not emit allergens/toxins into your home.
Coconut wax is made from the meat of the coconut (organic, renewable, no pesticides) and then blended with some harder vegan wax to create a nice white, creamy container candle blend.

° Has a superior scent throw (both cold and hot)

Wood wicks are a fun and unique wick that burns wider and slower than a standard wick. They flicker and crackle while they burn, creating a feeling of a mini campfire right in your home! They are a natural solution for wicks that don't include zinc or other unwanted burning compounds. Inspired by the familiar warmth of a wood burning fireplace, wood wicks were developed to create a multi-sensory experience, of both sound and vision! Wood wicks don’t ‘mushroom’ the way cotton wicks do which means minimal carbon buildup and minimal debris and sooting.
